Melvin Brewing

Melvin Brewing is a Wyoming brewery known for bold, hop-forward beer, with a taproom and kitchen. Its founding idea was that beer should be a little mad, or it isn’t really beer. Melvin started in Jackson Hole in 2010, brewing on a 20-gallon setup behind a Thai restaurant at a time when the local scene still poured traditional styles. It soon moved to a three-barrel system in a 180-square-foot brewhouse, where it made bold IPAs, wild Belgian-style ales and imperial beers. In 2012 its IPA and Double IPA won gold at the Great American Beer Festival. The lineup now includes a core series led by Melvin IPA, rotating releases, a vault of specialty beers, collaborations and a Lazy Dog line. Melvin is a certified B Corp. Its tagline is Born in the Mountains, Built to Party.
