Freedom’s Edge Brewing Company

Freedom’s Edge Brewing Company is a local, veteran-owned brewery in downtown Cheyenne. It has brewed small-batch craft beer since 2012, making it the longest-running brewery still operating in Wyoming’s capital. Owners and brewers Joel Emerick and Eric Kilmer run it with a small team and want to bring their love of craft beer to the people of Cheyenne. The tap list mixes flagship beers with new releases and covers a range of styles. Its lineup has included a Märzen, a red ale called Kilted Red, a fest bier, a fruited wheat and a chili ale. The taproom and patio welcome both kids and pets, and the owners encourage families to visit together. Freedom’s Edge also hosts events in the taproom.
