Black Tooth Brewing Co – Cheyenne

Black Tooth Brewing Company’s Cheyenne taproom opened in 2020 as the second location of a Sheridan brewery founded in November 2010. The Cheyenne site brews on Black Tooth’s original 10-barrel system, moved from Sheridan, and the vintage building closely resembles the brewery’s original home. The company is named for 13,014-foot Black Tooth Mountain in the Bighorns. Co-founder Tim Barnes and local investors started it, and after five years of medals the brewery expanded in 2015 into a larger production facility with a canning line. Its beer is now distributed in Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota and Montana and is recognizable by a buffalo-head logo and colorful labels. Its stated goal is to remain the state’s top craft beer choice, a theme behind the red, white and blue 307 Lager. Along with year-round, seasonal and limited releases, Black Tooth brews small pilot batches several times a year.
