Black Tooth Brewing Co

Black Tooth Brewing Company is a Sheridan brewery at the base of the Bighorn Mountains, named for 13,014-foot Black Tooth Mountain. Co-founder Tim Barnes and local investors opened it in November 2010 with a 10-barrel brewhouse and a rustic, western-industrial taproom that keeps pieces of the building’s history. Black Tooth won medals through its first five years, and in 2015 it expanded into a larger production brewery with a canning line. Its beer now reaches Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota and Montana, marked by a buffalo-head BTB logo and colorful labels. The brewery wants to be the craft beer Wyoming reaches for first, an idea reflected in its 307 Lager. Along with year-round, seasonal and limited beers, it brews small pilot batches several times a year. In 2020 the original 10-barrel system moved to a new taproom in Cheyenne, and a third location with a five-barrel system later opened in Casper.
